IKEA of Sweden is based in Älmhult and is the head quarter of design and innovation within IKEA. Based on their Democratic Design philosophy, they're on a never ending quest to make tomorrow’s IKEA-products even better.
We've been working closely together with IKEA of Sweden to bridge commercial and creative opportunities, to drive change within IKEA, when it comes to communication and product development. In 2017 our so far biggest strategic and creative framework "Make room for life" reached the cover of the most printed publication in the world, the IKEA catalogue.
The concept and strategy is based on the philosophy that home is more than just a place where you live. It's a place where life happens. IKEA's role in that thinking is not to ask what kind of sofa would you like, but instead: What kind of life would you want to live and how can we help make room for it?
