SPACE10 Cookbook

SPACE10 is a research and design lab on a mission to enable a better everyday life for people and planet. They asked us to help them bring sustainable food of tomorrow closer to today.

To spark a global conversation about the future of food, we wanted to create a physical and tangible output that manifested SPACE10’s thoughts, ideas and opinions. This led to the idea of creating a cookbook which functioned as the main driver for campaigns, events, articles and talks regarding food of the future.

We have conceptualized, art directed, co-written and designed the cookbook in close collaboration with SPACE10. The book is published by Frame Publishers who specializes in high-end publications for a global audience of creative professionals, designed to be a tool in the kitchen and a conversation starter around the table. It’s for sale in selected stores all over the world.

Just like the title Future Food Today suggests, 
we kept the design aspirational, but down to earth. Working within the SPACE10 identity, we tried to embrace the universe of the chef, keeping information functional and letting imagery document the process.

"We wanted to engage as many people as possible in this conversation, from well seasoned gourmandes to aspirational foodies," he added. "It really is a book for everyone, as long as you have a curious mind and have an interest in exploring a more sustainable future."
